Painting is the slow way I look at a street.
When painting, oil is always my medium of choice because of the flexibility it affords. I particularly enjoy experimenting with the use of color and texture to create depth. Palette knife, small canvases, places I have lived or worked. They are not illustrations of projects, but they are the same habit of noticing light, edge and the height of a wall.
